I think it is better for entrepreneurs to participate in shark tank because they can get money to start up their business and get good connections through the sharks as well inside information and knowledge on the industry and how to run a business from the sharks, and in shark tank they would not necessarily give up as much control as in the profit. Also if your on the profit it means your business in already failing and losing money and you don't want that, and you want to get the inside and how to properly run before you start losing money.

The sharks are better investors because there is more of them to give you feedback help and insight on the business world, also they take a lot less of your company most often and Marcus Lemonis takes half your company. Also Marcus Lemonis takes over your company and changes a lot about this that you might not want changed.

For my product The Cool Fit I would want to work Daymond John because my product is a coat. Daymond John made is money of his clothing brand so he knows the fashion industry and clothes, and he knows the best way to run a clothing brand and he can give a lot of insight on the industry. Daymond John would be able to help develop how we retail my product and help make coat styles that people want and will buy.

The difference between Marcus Lemonis and the sharks is that the sharks give you a set amount of money and that's it, and Marcus Lemonis gives you a set amount of money but will go over the amount to get the business to where it needs to be, Also Marcus completely takes over the business for a short amount of time and completely changes how they work, then hands control back over while staying as a big part of how it is run. The sharks give out money and help give insight and help get you started and make connections and improve business plans but are not so hands on as marcus lemonis. Marcus lemonis is more of a partner and the sharks are more of an investor. They both try to make money by owning part of the company and taking a part of the profit and most sharks also try to make money by taking part of each individual sale.
