Brett Swanson

1. A totally protective government is a government that goes out of its way to protect its citizens, but this can be a little to much in some cases. This term was applied in the movie through pre crime. It was a way that the government was able to protect its citizens but in the process took away a lot of their freedom.
2. I don't think this should be a part of our society because it has serious implications on our freedom. I personally wouldn't like the government having the ability to arrest me based on a thought for something I haven't done and I don't think that is an unpopular opinion.
3. One example of this is when the national guard or military is brought in to restore order. This is usually when protests get very large and the government needs to restore their control. Recent President Trump tweeted that he wanted to bring the military to Chicago to stop the violence but it was quickly shot down.
