To understand which investor is better for a company you first need you to understand what each investor does. Shark Tank investors look at companies and buy parts of the company giving the people money. The sharks then have power over their companies and get a portion of the profit. Marcus Lemonis on the other hand invests and becomes a partner with the companies. He then tries to make the business succeed while getting to know the owners and the situation they are in. Marcos Lemonis is better than the sharks. He teaches people how to get better and make more money instead of just putting money in people's hands and hoping for a profit like in Shark Tank.
Personally, I would choose Marcus Lemonis as an investor. He would help the company with his ideas and be a partner to my company. Marcus Lemonis works with the companies owners and even though he might be abrasive he does care about the companies and the people. The hands-on help would be better for the long run. For the most part, shark tank contestants have a starting out a business, and The Profit has a well-established company that has lost its way.
